Vice President of Engineering

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams through their managers and oversee how teams plan, build, and deliver software. Responsibilities include owning delivery, quality, reliability, security, and performance; developing engineering managers; and setting technical direction in alignment with broader architecture. The role partners with product, design, and client-facing teams to turn business goals into executable roadmaps and customer outcomes. It also contributes to engineering-wide standards, hiring and planning practices, budget and headcount management, and communication of progress to executive leadership and external clients. Candidates should have 10 or more years of engineering and senior leadership experience, including leading multi-team organizations through managers and managing managers of managers. They should bring experience hiring, coaching, and developing engineering managers, scaling teams, and delivering customer-facing SaaS products predictably. A strong foundation in modern SaaS engineering, including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and agile delivery, is needed, along with sound judgment in architecture and system design. The role also calls for executive communication, cross-functional collaboration, and experience managing engineering budgets and headcount; experience with high-volume data platforms is an advantage.
