Associate Vice President, Software Engineering Lead Remote (anywhere in India)

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Software Engineering Lead to guide development teams through the Agile lifecycle and deliver accessible, high-performance web applications. Responsibilities include developing reusable, testable UI features; collaborating with UX, backend, product, and architecture teams; and mentoring engineers through code reviews and pair programming. The role also champions responsible use of AI-assisted development, supports vendor integrations, and helps troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes. Periodic on-call support is required. Candidates should have strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Redux, CSS, and RTL or Cypress, along with hands-on experience using an AI coding assistant. Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, MCP, agent orchestration, micro-frontend architecture, accessibility, analytics, and test-driven development is also required. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of full-stack development experience focused on JavaScript and React are required; alternatively, candidates may qualify with a high school diploma or GED and seven years of relevant experience. Experience with Agile teams, component libraries, dependency management, and continuous integration is desirable.
