Contribute to architecture discussions and design reviews, and lead the technical design for the features and components you own.
Work with Finance and Operations stakeholders to understand business processes and turn requirements into technical solutions.
Move legacy processes and tools onto modern, code-based platforms.
Follow and help improve engineering standards for code quality, CI/CD, automated testing and observability.
Support production systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution and performance tuning.
Build controls, audit and security requirements into your solutions, working with Information Security and Risk.
Mentor junior engineers, take part in code reviews, and communicate clearly with offshore and affiliate teams.
Qualifications:
5+ years of software engineering experience, with recent hands-on development in Python and SQL.
Experience building and supporting production applications or data platforms, ideally in financial services.
Solid understanding of APIs, data pipelines, relational databases and cloud-based development.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, version control and automated testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience breaking complex business logic down into clean, maintainable code.
Clear communication and experience working directly with business stakeholders and distributed teams.
Experience applying AI or LLM-based tools to automate business processes.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Real estate or private equity experience, including performance calculations, deal lifecycle, forecasting and investor reporting preferred.
