Head of Technical Services

The Company is seeking a Head of Technical Services to lead technical delivery across active and pipeline projects. The role will establish and enforce standards for design coordination, BIM, shop drawings, RFI management, surveying, and as-built work, while providing technical leadership to project engineering managers. Responsibilities include resolving escalated design and BIM issues, managing RFI backlogs, owning the organization’s BIM strategy, contributing technical input to tenders, and reporting performance to senior leadership. The successful candidate will also build consistent teams and processes that support timely approvals and prevent technical issues from delaying project schedules. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be registered with the relevant professional engineering council. At least 20 years of experience is required, including five or more years leading engineering and BIM across multiple projects or at an organizational level, and eight or more years of experience in Saudi Arabia. Applicants should have a contractor background in heavy civil and building projects, with experience coordinating multidisciplinary design and working with local building codes and authority approvals. Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans, Revit, Navisworks, common data environments, shop drawing standards, and surveying standards is required.
