Vice President, AI Transformation Office Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead its enterprise AI and machine learning transformation program and establish the operating model for the AI Transformation Office. The role translates enterprise priorities into a governed portfolio of initiatives, oversees use-case intake and approvals, and coordinates investment, delivery, risk, regulatory readiness, and responsible AI practices across the organization. The executive will advise senior leadership, prepare governance and performance updates, build and lead the transformation team, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes. Responsibilities also include establishing value-measurement methods and dashboards, monitoring deployed solutions, and driving AI literacy, adoption, and workforce change. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise transformation, healthcare, operations, technology, portfolio management, strategy, or a related area; a master’s degree is preferred. Required experience includes leading complex cross-functional programs and executive governance, managing investment portfolios and budgets, and working in regulated environments with legal, compliance, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders. Candidates should bring strong knowledge of enterprise AI, governance, delivery, risk, economics, and adoption, along with financial acumen and exceptional communication, facilitation, and influence skills. Experience in AI or digital transformation, healthcare payer operations, responsible AI governance, or establishing enterprise transformation functions is preferred.
