Interim Head, Tax and Treasury

The Company is seeking an Interim Head of Tax to take on a high-impact leadership role, with a focus on developing and delivering the group's tax strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for all direct and indirect tax compliance, leading tax planning initiatives, and managing tax risk. While the role also involves overseeing treasury operations, the primary requirement is for strong tax expertise. The Interim Head of Tax will be expected to partner closely with senior finance stakeholders, lead a small, experienced team, and ensure the accurate interpretation and implementation of tax-related matters in the context of commercial decision-making. Applicants for the Interim Head of Tax position at the company should be qualified accountants (ACA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience, particularly in senior tax leadership within a complex or multinational environment. The role requires a candidate with deep technical expertise, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders. A values-driven leader who can develop people and embed best practices is essential. The Interim Head of Tax will also be involved in coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing tax and treasury team, and while prior treasury experience is not a requirement, the role does include responsibilities such as liquidity planning, cash management, and working capital oversight.
