Senior Vice President, Asset and Liability Management

The Company is in search of a VP/SVP for Asset and Liability Management in Financial Markets. The successful candidate will be a senior team member responsible for leading the strategic management of the treasury investment portfolio, with a strong focus on macro-driven positioning across various financial instruments. This role involves driving asset allocation decisions, balance sheet optimization, and developing macroeconomic and market views to enhance risk-adjusted returns. The VP/SVP will also be tasked with executing and managing transactions, overseeing funding and liquidity positions, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 10-15 years' of experience in asset and liability management, treasury, balance sheet management, or a related function within a financial institution. A tertiary degree is required, and proficiency in English and Chinese is a must. The role demands excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly the ability to present complex concepts clearly to senior management. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying, assessing, and managing market, liquidity, and balance sheet risks, and will work in collaboration with risk management, finance, and ALM functions to ensure the company's objectives are met.
