Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Corporate Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing customer value within a portfolio of major corporate banking relationships and identifying opportunities for alignment with other product groups. This role involves the formulation and implementation of a robust relationship management strategy to enhance customer loyalty, as well as the identification of business leads to contribute to the growth of the corporate banking sector. The SVP will also be tasked with ensuring the highest level of due diligence to mitigate financial crime risks, leading the development of quality credit proposals, and monitoring credit risks to protect the bank from potential losses. Applicants for the Senior Vice President position should be university graduates with a strong background in general banking, particularly in corporate lending and trade financing. A solid knowledge of banking products and a proactive approach to success are essential. The role requires the ability to meet licensing requirements, especially in relation to insurance and securities, and a dynamic, forward-thinking attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is a must. The ideal candidate will also have the analytical ability to structure credits, create quality credit packages, and lead the process of securing credit approvals.
