Head of IT Security and Data Protection

The Company is seeking a Head of IT Security and Data Protection to take the lead in spearheading the data protection strategy across all its entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with evolving data security regulations, leading the deployment of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions across various touchpoints, and designing and enforcing IT security policies in line with relevant legislations. This role also involves enhancing application security, building and leading a high-performing IT security team, and overseeing enterprise-wide security assessments to define robust risk mitigation strategies. Candidates for this role should have 15-20 years' of experience in IT security, with a focus on data protection, application security, and regulatory compliance. A strong hands-on background in implementing DLP and identity management solutions, as well as familiarity with leading security frameworks, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, solution-oriented leadership style, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to engage with leadership teams and influence key stakeholders. Preferred certifications include CCSP, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, or ITIL, and experience in deploying enterprise-wide security solutions and conducting comprehensive risk assessments is a must.
