Head of Depositary

The Company is seeking a Head of Depositary to take on a senior leadership role within its financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the firm's depositary function, with a primary focus on ensuring regulatory compliance, safeguarding fund assets, and providing independent oversight of fund operations. This includes overseeing cash flows, verifying the ownership of assets, and ensuring that all depositary activities align with investment strategies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves monitoring third-party custodians, performing reconciliations, and supervising accounting and reporting for various financial instruments. Applicants for the Head of Depositary position at the company must have a strong regulatory knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS, and depositary regulatory frameworks, as well as a CySEC Advanced Certificate and AML Registry membership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in depositary, custody, or fund oversight roles, with a deep understanding of fund operations and strong risk management and analytical skills. Leadership experience, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is a high level of integrity, independence, and professional judgment. Fluency in English and Russian is required, with Greek language skills being a plus.
