Managing Director

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to spearhead the establishment and leadership of its beekeeping operations in Europe. The successful candidate will be tasked with building the European activity from the ground up, which includes developing and executing regional business strategies, forging strategic partnerships with commercial beekeepers and growers, and leading the expansion across European markets. This role demands a professional with significant leadership experience in agriculture, ag-tech, or related industries, a strong background in business management and agricultural operations, and a deep understanding of the beekeeping ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing partnerships, leading complex commercial initiatives, and be fluent in Spanish and English, with additional European languages being a strong advantage. Key responsibilities for the Managing Director include overseeing regional commercial activities, building and managing relationships with agricultural partners, and representing the company in industry events and networks. The role also involves working closely with global leadership, product, and operations teams to ensure successful market implementation. The candidate should be prepared for frequent travel across Europe and, while not mandatory, direct experience in commercial beekeeping operations, as well as experience with growers, agricultural cooperatives, or farming organizations, would be advantageous. The position is pivotal in the company's mission to transform beekeeping management and contribute to the global food supply by leveraging AI, robotics, and precision agriculture.
