Head of IT Security

The Company is seeking a hands-on Head of IT Security to lead and develop its security capability. The role spans security strategy, governance and compliance, engineering, cloud, operations, and risk, with close collaboration across technical and senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will build scalable security practices and balance strategic leadership with practical technical contribution. Responsibilities include overseeing security in an agile environment and supporting ongoing compliance. Candidates should bring broad information security experience, ideally having progressed from security engineering into a leadership role that includes governance and compliance. Strong cloud and DevSecOps knowledge is required, along with the ability to work across engineering, operations, and risk. Experience with security frameworks and certification processes is valuable. The role suits a security generalist who is comfortable taking ownership and working across a growing organization.
