Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Circular Wastewater Treatment

The Company is seeking a Co-Founding CEO to lead a groundbreaking project in Circular Wastewater Treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible for project development and management, including overseeing the full cycle of project realization with a focus on a project finance structure. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong background in entrepreneurship, infrastructure, and project finance, particularly within the semi-public energy, water, or chemical sector. The CEO will be tasked with driving the project to meet strategic milestones, building and leading teams for technology and business development, and ensuring the technology aligns with market needs. Experience in stakeholder management, particularly in the semi-public sector, and a deep understanding of European environmental standards and permitting processes are essential. Applicants for the Co-Founding CEO position should be driven, action-oriented, and possess a collaborative technical mindset. While a technical background is a plus, the candidate must be enthusiastic about technology and capable of working closely with research and engineering teams. The role requires a leader who can turn technology into real-world impact, with a proven track record in project development and scaling. Financial acumen, commercial execution, and a strong network within the potential customer and supply chain are also key requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in the semi-public market, particularly in the water treatment sector, and a successful history of managing capital-intensive projects. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and additional languages such as German, French, or Dutch are a plus.
