Vice President of Operations

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to take on an executive leadership role within its national real estate development firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operational strategy and financial performance of a premier portfolio of luxury and mixed-income residential communities across the Midwest. This includes driving NOI growth, overseeing regional and general managers, and fostering leadership development and operational excellence. The role also involves direct oversight of budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and revenue management, as well as partnering with various teams to optimize property performance and ensure exceptional resident experiences. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive property management experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for CPM, ARM, or MBA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading multi-property, multi-market residential portfolios with full P&L responsibility, and strong expertise in luxury multifamily operations, financial management, leasing strategy, and asset performance. Deep knowledge of Fair Housing, EEO, and residential property regulations is essential, as is experience in building and developing high-performing leadership teams. Proficiency in property management systems such as Yardi or RealPage is also a key requirement.
