The Company is seeking a Director of Project Management and Engineering to lead an interdisciplinary team in the industrial automation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the team, overseeing project management, engineering, and validation activities. This role involves the leadership and coordination of customer and development projects, as well as the technical support of customers and the sales team in defining technical requirements and developing customized solutions. The Director will also be involved in the coordination of engineering, laboratory, and validation activities, and will play a key role in the successful implementation of customer projects and technical changes. Applicants for the Director position should have a degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related technical field, or a technical education with equivalent professional experience. A minimum of several years' experience in engineering, project management, or development, particularly in the automotive supplier industry, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading technical customer and development projects, as well as experience with automotive development processes and methods, including APQP, FMEA, and change management. The role demands a high level of technical proficiency, the ability to work in a demanding and complex product environment, and a strong focus on quality, cost, and time in project execution. Proficiency in German and English is essential.
