Chief Operating Officer (COO), Private Equities & Hedge Funds

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in private equity and hedge fund operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial management activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of fund NAVs, and managing relationships with various external parties. In addition, the COO will lead all operational workflows, including trade operations, investor onboarding, and fund lifecycle operations. A key aspect of the role is to supervise the technology team, lead digital transformation initiatives, and implement technology solutions to enhance operational resilience. The COO will also be involved in strategic planning, corporate development, and will provide leadership in team management. Applicants must have a proven track record as a COO or senior operations leader within private equity and/or hedge fund firms, with strong financial leadership experience. A deep understanding of alternative investment structures and comprehensive knowledge of front-to-back operations is essential. The role requires experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and a strong command of regulatory requirements in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with a strong familiarity with fund accounting systems, OMS/PMS platforms, and operational technology infrastructure. Personal attributes should include an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset, with a focus on building processes in a scaling environment.
