Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the finance organization at the Japan base and promoting financial strategies in collaboration with global and business leaders. This role involves supporting financial decision-making for the head of Japanese operations, coordinating and reporting on financial strategies with global headquarters, and developing annual budgets, forecasts, and medium- to long-term plans. The Head of Finance will also be involved in creating monthly budget-to-actual analysis and management reports, conducting profitability analysis related to product and pricing strategy, and ensuring tax compliance, internal control, and compliance management. Applicants must have a practical experience in the finance field, particularly in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry, and a background in a multinational organization. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, fluency in Japanese, and business-level English. Knowledge of ERP systems, negotiation, relationship-building, and analytical skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, JCPA, and SCM-related work experience.
