Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance and Administration to join their dynamic, close-knit local team. The successful candidate will be the central integrator of the finance function, providing operational leadership and directly guiding a small, dedicated team. This hands-on leadership role involves full ownership of financial operations, accounting, local tax returns, and annual audits in compliance with Hungarian GAAP and IFRS. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for group reporting, performance, and serving as the financial lead for a large-scale EPC capital investment project, including strategic project finance, treasury management, and systems development. Applicants must have a Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 5 years of leadership and hands-on experience in accounting and/or controlling. Technical expertise in Hungarian tax regulations and accounting standards is essential, as is fluency in Hungarian and high-level proficiency in English. The role requires a resilient, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach, exceptional communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a high commitment to team success. Experience in leveraging AI applications in professional workflows and a proven track record in driving digital process efficiencies are also key qualifications for this position.
