Associate General Counsel, Commercial Real Estate

The Company is in search of an experienced Associate General Counsel with a focus on commercial real estate. The successful candidate will be a key member of the legal team, providing strategic and trusted legal advice across the full lifecycle of industrial real estate projects. This includes but is not limited to, acquisition, entitlement, development, financing, leasing, and disposition. The role demands a self-starter with the ability to independently manage high-value, complex matters, and a proven track record of exceptional legal judgment, negotiation, and drafting skills. The ideal candidate will also have a strong business acumen, be highly organized, and possess the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, an active license to practice law in Texas, or the ability to become licensed promptly, and 5-10 years of experience in sophisticated industrial or commercial real estate transactions. A key requirement for this position is demonstrated expertise in the practical use of artificial intelligence to enhance legal work. The role also involves leadership in the responsible adoption of AI and emerging legal technologies within the legal department. The candidate should be a collaborative team player with a client-service mindset, capable of building strong relationships across the organization, and committed to delivering practical legal solutions.
