Vice President, Investment Banking, Energy (Oil & Gas) Greater Houston, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Investment Banking division with a focus on the energy sector, including oil and gas. The successful candidate will be responsible for client relationship management and providing a range of investment banking services, particularly in the areas of strategic advisory for M&A, and debt and equity capital raising. This role requires a senior professional with a strong background in investment banking, market, and industry sector, and a proven track record of generating a balanced mix of M&A, debt, and equity capital raising. The Vice President will also be expected to promote the company's financial products and services, and to serve corporate and commercial clients with strategic advisory and traditional investment banking services. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a BA/BS degree, a minimum of 8 years of related work experience, and advanced skills in financial analysis, sales, presentation, and client relationship management. A finance-focused MBA and 10+ years of experience are preferred. The role involves leading business development, transaction execution, and may include supervising junior staff. The ideal candidate will have superior written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work closely with senior banking professionals, product specialists, and clients to drive business growth.
