Head of IT Audit

The Company is seeking a Head of IT Audit to lead a specialist technology and transformation audit portfolio in a complex financial services environment. Responsibilities include overseeing risk-based audit engagements from planning through reporting, providing assurance and strategic insight to senior stakeholders, and identifying emerging technology risks to inform the audit plan. The role also involves leading and developing an internal audit team, improving audit methods and stakeholder engagement, and collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality assurance. Candidates should have significant internal audit leadership experience in financial services, with strong expertise in IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. They should have a proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead complex audit portfolios. A relevant audit qualification, such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, is required; technology certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC are advantageous. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with strategic thinking and the ability to deliver practical assurance, are essential.
