Vice President, Deputy Chief Information Security Officer

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Deputy CISO) to join their mission of ending cyber risk. The successful candidate will be a seasoned information security leader with a strong background in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC), and a proven track record of managing technical security teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the protection of the enterprise's personnel, data, and assets against a wide range of current and emerging threats. The Deputy CISO will be responsible for setting and executing security strategies, maintaining the organization's security governance framework, and overseeing compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, the role involves managing the security budget, providing leadership continuity in the CISO's absence, and delivering security metrics and reports to executive leadership. Applicants for the Deputy CISO position at the company should have at least 8 years of leadership experience in security engineering, security operations, or GRC teams, and a minimum of 10 years in the information security field. The role requires a deep understanding of security frameworks, data privacy regulations, and experience in managing third-party risk. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA being preferred. Strong executive communication, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate technical and regulatory risk into business language are essential.
