Senior Director, Drug Product Development

The Company is seeking a Senior Director for Drug Product Development. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the daily operations, talent pipeline building, and professional development of the department. This role involves leading a global team in end-to-end drug product development, including formulating product iteration strategies and driving the development of combination products and lifecycle transitions. The Senior Director will also oversee the drafting, reviewing, and responding to questions for the formulation and process sections of CMC regulatory dossiers. Applicants must have a Master’s degree or above in a relevant field, with a Ph.D. being highly preferred, and at least 8 years of experience in formulation development within the biopharmaceutical industry. A minimum of 3-5 years of successful team management experience is required. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in formulation development, lyophilization process development and scale-up, fill-finish process development and scale-up, process characterization, and combination products. Experience in successfully leading projects from IND to BLA/NDA is also highly preferred. The role demands a strategic leader who can translate cutting-edge science into globally accessible therapies and is capable of driving the team to meet the company's innovation and commercialization goals.
