Head of Finance & Accounting Controller

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance and Accounting Controller to take on a core position with a high annual salary and the opportunity to work in a flexible, remote environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting, with a key focus on building a disclosure system to support IPO preparation and establishing a global consolidated accounting flow. This role involves the establishment of various financial processes, collaboration with audit firms, and oversight of all closing operations. The Head of Finance and Accounting Controller will also be involved in budgeting, budget management, and the overall management of the financial reporting system, as well as member management and training. Applicants must have practical experience in accounting and finance, or audit work experience at an audit firm, and a Bachelor's degree. Fluency in Japanese and business-level English is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in FP&A, management, and practical experience in IPO preparation. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and finance at startups and growth companies, as well as experience in the implementation and operation of cloud accounting and automation tools. Accounting qualifications such as Nissho Bookkeeping Level 1, Certified Public Accountant, USCPA, or equivalent are also desirable.
