Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP & A)

The Company is in search of a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to take on a senior finance leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as providing strategic financial support. This includes translating strategic objectives into financial plans, undertaking scenario modeling, and ensuring that financial models align with the company's goals. The role also involves capital planning, performance analysis, and business partnering to enhance commercial decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FP&A within the banking or financial services sector, with a focus on financial modeling, pricing, and profitability. Advanced skills in data analytics, business intelligence, and a proactive approach to process improvement are essential. Applicants for the Head of FP&A position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent strongly preferred. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous. The role requires a candidate with at least 10 years' of experience in FP&A or related areas, and a proven track record of leadership and stakeholder management. The candidate should be highly analytical, commercially astute, and possess strong communication skills. Experience with banking products, particularly trade finance, is a plus. The role demands a proactive individual with a continuous-improvement mindset, capable of challenging senior stakeholders and promoting financial discipline across the organization.
