Managing Director, Gold Business

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its gold business, which is a key focus area within the broader financial services and digital innovation landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-performance culture, defining and executing business strategies, and leading the end-to-end gold trading and retail financial services operations. This includes overseeing gold procurement, logistics, and inventory management, as well as establishing effective risk management and hedging strategies. The role also involves driving innovation in digital gold savings, alternative assets, and fintech products, and developing strategic partnerships to enhance the company's financial ecosystem. Applicants must have a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline and more than 20 years of professional experience, with a proven track record in a senior executive role. Key requirements include a strong understanding of consumer lending, financial services, and retail operations, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage a large-scale business with significant investment portfolios or sales turnover. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, be data-driven, and have excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. The role demands a leader who can make fast, commercially sound decisions and is adept at influencing and building trust with a range of stakeholders.
