Head of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Head of Accounting to take on a permanent, full-time role with immediate start. The successful candidate will have strategic and operational overall responsibility for the finance, accounting, and controlling departments. This includes the preparation and quality assurance of financial statements, adaptation and restructuring of the finance department, and the implementation of new regulatory standards. The role also involves the optimization and standardization of financial processes, as well as the further development of digital tools and automation solutions. Applicants for the Head of Accounting position at the company should have a completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance or accounting, or a comparable qualification. Relevant experience in financial accounting, particularly in a management position, is essential. A strong knowledge of German Commercial Code, tax regulations, and accounting standards is required, with practical experience in property or real estate accounting being an advantage. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing or converting accounting systems, a structured and solution-oriented work style, and proficiency in accounting software. Leadership skills, decisiveness, team orientation, and good communication skills are also key attributes for this role.
