Head of Finance

The Company is in search of a Head of Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the finance function and supporting the senior leadership team in driving business performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the month-end and year-end close processes, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of various financial documents to senior stakeholders. This role also involves partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight, driving continuous improvement in finance processes, and managing the annual audit process. The Head of Finance will be a key player in supporting business growth initiatives, investment projects, and strategic planning activities, and must be able to provide detailed analysis on financial performance and business opportunities. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company must be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with a proven track record in a senior finance leadership role. Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise are essential, as is a commercial mindset with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders. The role requires a leader with strong management skills, capable of developing and mentoring finance teams, and who can act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, contributing to the overall business strategy. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance requirements, and must be adept at overseeing cash flow management, working capital, and treasury activities.
