Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their high-growth, private equity-backed business in the professional services sector. The successful candidate will be a commercially minded and analytically driven leader, responsible for the development of the company's data and analytical capability. This role is pivotal in bringing together significant operational data into a single source of truth, working closely with the CEO, Directors, and Board to turn data into insight, and supporting better commercial decision-making. The CFO will also have full ownership of the finance function, including management accounts, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, and will be involved in financial modeling, scenario planning, and leading the finance team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should be high-caliber finance leaders with a combination of technical strength, commercial thinking, and strong analytical capability. The ideal candidate will have an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification, and proven experience at the CFO or FD level in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, preferably within a PE-backed business. Strong financial control, excellent analytical and data skills, and experience in developing reporting, dashboards, or data infrastructure are essential. The role requires the ability to understand and articulate business drivers, excellent communication and presentation skills, a hands-on approach, and the confidence to constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
