Executive Director, Fixed Income

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Fixed Income to play a pivotal role in the implementation and management of fixed income investment activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic execution of the firm's fixed income investments, ensuring alignment with the established strategy and asset allocation framework. This includes the management of a shariah-compliant fixed income portfolio across various debt instruments, as well as the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of direct investment opportunities. The role demands a high level of discipline in portfolio construction, active monitoring of performance and risk, and a proactive approach to adapting investment positioning in response to global and regional market developments. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director - Fixed Income include maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as risk management, compliance, operations, investment banks, and co-investment partners. The role also involves contributing to fixed income portfolio monitoring, performance reporting, and risk oversight, and requires the production of high-quality, transparent reports for the Group Chief Investment Officer. The ideal candidate will have a well-established network in the UAE and GCC for deal origination and will be expected to uphold the highest standards of ethics, diligence, and fiduciary responsibility. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to internal process improvements, and participating in discussions on investment governance and internal control enhancements.
