Head of Finance & Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance and Operations to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining robust financial controls. This role goes beyond traditional financial reporting, as it involves cash flow and working capital management, commercial decision-making, supplier negotiations, and supporting the financial aspects of acquisitions and integrations. The Head of Finance and Operations will also be involved in strategic planning, and forecasting, and will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide financial insight that supports the company's growth and commercial objectives. Applicants for the Head of Finance and Operations position at the company should be qualified accountants with a strong background in a commercial environment. Experience in cash flow, working capital, margin management, and financial controls is essential. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, be resourceful, and comfortable operating across both finance and wider commercial matters. Exposure to technology, IT services, hardware, distribution, or a similar environment is beneficial, as is experience in acquisitions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
