Head of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Team Leader in Accounting to join their dynamic and professional work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of professional monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP. This role involves the independent management of all day-to-day accounting activities, including insight into the investment business through fund accounting and controlling. The Team Leader will also oversee general ledger and fixed asset accounting, manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment transactions, and bank entries, and serve as a reliable contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams. Active participation in the shaping of modern processes, systems, and tools is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants for the Team Leader Accounting role at the company should have a background in commercial training, a degree in economics, or comparable experience. A sound knowledge of financial accounting and financial statement preparation is essential, as is an initial management experience or a strong willingness to take on responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of accounting and financial analysis, be numerically inclined, structured, and analytical, and possess excellent communication skills with a team-oriented approach. The role requires an independent, reliable, and precise individual with a motivation for further development and cross-functional collaboration. An interest in controlling or treasury is a nice-to-have.
