Vice President, Specialist, Strategic Business Planning, Private Banking Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking a VP, Specialist in Strategic Business Planning for its Private Banking division. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and supporting senior management in driving business strategy and performance across the North Asia markets. This role involves leading a small team to prepare various business management reports, driving strategic initiatives, and formulating end-to-end delivery of segment value propositions. The VP will also be tasked with driving key business initiatives, establishing active referral pipelines, and institutionalizing discipline around prospecting and pipeline management. Additionally, the role requires the pilot of new customer acquisition campaigns and close collaboration with external and internal partners. Applicants should have around 8-10 years' experience in banking, financial services, management consulting, or related industries, with a preference for those in strategic planning and business development roles. A strong knowledge of the wealth management landscape and market trends is essential, as is a proven track record in strategy and business development. The role demands good project management skills, a strategic and analytical mindset, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders. Experience in business development activities, including stakeholder engagement and program success, is also required. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, a self-starter, and have an excellent command of English, with proficiency in Mandarin being a definite plus.
