Vice President, Equity Capital Markets

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and structuring a variety of ECM transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, block trades, and convertible offerings. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, such as corporate clients, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors. The Vice President will also lead the preparation of pitch materials, valuation analyses, and transaction proposals, and will work closely with syndicate, research, and legal teams to ensure the seamless execution of deals. Monitoring market trends, investor sentiment, and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities is a key aspect of the position, as is mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of analytical excellence and client-first thinking. Applicants for the Vice President position should have 5-10 years' of experience in ECM origination, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a proven track record in winning and executing equity capital markets transactions. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills are essential, as is a deep understanding of equity markets, investor dynamics, and deal structuring. The role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, particularly with senior corporate executives and institutional investors, as well as resilience, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment. The Vice President will be expected to work on a permanent, full-time basis and be based on-site.
