Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. This is a pivotal role that involves partnering directly with the CEO and operational teams, owning month-end, management reporting, and group consolidations, and leading the improvement of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash flow, working capital, and the rolling 13-week forecast, as well as leading budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis. The role also includes overseeing AP, AR, payroll, compliance, and year-end requirements. The ideal candidate for the Head of Finance position at the company will be CA or CPA qualified with a strong technical accounting background. Experience in a similar role, such as Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or a strong Finance Manager background, is essential. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable being hands-on and is adept at personally resolving finance issues. Strong capabilities in MYOB, month-end, cash flow, and balance sheet are necessary, and experience in retail, wholesale, distribution, e-commerce, or inventory is highly regarded. The role is suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership and has a proven track record of understanding and improving all aspects of the finance function in a smaller business environment.
