Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be the senior financial leader, responsible for a wide range of core financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, lender compliance, and cash flow management. This role demands a hands-on, player-coach approach, with a focus on both executive leadership and direct execution. The Vice President of Finance will also be a key business partner to ownership, providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, and will be involved in leading acquisition and capital transaction support. Strong business judgment, an ownership mentality, and the ability to design and implement financial systems that enhance operational performance are essential. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have an undergraduate accounting degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and a CPA and/or MBA also preferred. A minimum of 7 years' experience in real estate investment, private equity, or related fields is required, with a background in public accounting and a strong technical accounting foundation being advantageous. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record of progression into a senior finance leadership role, experience in real estate accounting, underwriting, and financial modeling, as well as a deep understanding of debt structures and financing processes. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly accountable, with the ability to build and maintain financial systems and processes.
