Vice President, Finance Technology

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Finance Technology with a focus on leading the data and engineering capability that supports Fund Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and well-controlled data solutions, and will be expected to have a strong background in both Fund Accounting and Fund Finance, as well as significant hands-on experience in data and engineering. This role is pivotal in partnering with various teams to ensure that business needs are translated into clear data requirements and technical solutions, and the VP will be at the forefront of establishing effective engineering practices and technical accountability. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in data engineering, finance technology, fund accounting technology, or related roles within the financial services sector. The role requires a deep understanding of fund accounting and fund finance processes, as well as advanced technical skills in areas such as SQL, Databricks/Snowflake, Python/PySpark, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and modern cloud data platforms. Experience with data-quality frameworks, and financial data controls, and a background in enterprise data architecture are also essential. The VP will be expected to lead a team, mentor staff, and maintain strong communication and stakeholder management skills across both finance and technology domains.
