The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Investment Counsellor for its Consumer Banking Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring awareness and adherence to processes, policies, and codes of conduct for frontline staff. This includes coaching Relationship Managers on various investment products, reviewing client investment portfolios, and maintaining client engagement in investment discussions. The role also involves owning the investment targets for the region, increasing mutual fund AUM, and providing feedback to the central investment product team for continuous improvement. Applicants must have at least 7-10 years of experience in banks or NBFCs, handling client portfolios, and a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Postgraduate qualifications are desirable, and mandatory certifications include the MF distribution exam and PMS certification, with CFP being preferred. The role requires in-depth knowledge of investment products, current markets, and excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be proactive, customer-centric, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. The position demands the ability to work well with people, a willingness to travel, and a strong focus on driving performance and business.
