Senior Vice President, Lead AI/MLOps Infrastructure Engineer

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Lead AI/MLOps Infrastructure Engineer to take on a pivotal, hands-on leadership role in owning and leading the infrastructure behind their AI and machine learning platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end AI/ML platform stack, including orchestration, compute, storage, and model serving. This role demands a deep understanding of MLOps and AI infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, Terraform, and production ML/GenAI experience. Key responsibilities include building and operating MLOps pipelines, productionizing AI/ML and GenAI workloads, designing and managing cloud-native AWS infrastructure, and driving data governance, privacy compliance, and cost optimization. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, with a strong emphasis on AWS as the primary cloud. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and operating MLOps pipelines in production, experience with MLOps tooling, and exposure to Generative AI/LLM workloads. Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), scripting (Python or similar), and a solid foundation in Linux, systems, and troubleshooting are essential. The role also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. Experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud networking is a plus, as is a background in regulated or fintech environments and experience in optimizing costs for compute-intensive workloads.
