Group Head of Technology Audit

The Company is in search of a Group Head of Technology Audit, a senior leader with a strategic and technical background, to oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive, risk-based technology audit strategy. This role is pivotal in providing independent assurance on technology risks, acting as a trusted advisor to executive management, and driving continuous improvement across the control environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the annual risk assessment process, developing a technology audit plan, and overseeing audits in various areas including operational technology, core IT, ERP systems, and cybersecurity. Key responsibilities also include evaluating the effectiveness of technology governance, risk management, and internal controls, as well as mentoring and developing a high-performing technology audit team. Applicants for this role at The Company must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 10 years' experience in technology audit, IT risk, cybersecurity, or internal audit, and at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CGEIT are mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding multiple certifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology governance, risk management frameworks, cybersecurity principles, and internal control standards, and demonstrated ability to engage and challenge senior executives. Fluency in English is required, and priority will be given to those with experience in energy, utilities, critical infrastructure, industrial or manufacturing environments, telecommunications, financial services, or large government organizations.
