Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all core operational functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and customer-focused delivery of services, in line with MFSA requirements and EU banking regulations. This role involves leading the digitalization agenda, developing and maintaining operational plans that align with the organization's strategic objectives, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The COO will also work closely with the senior leadership team on business priorities, oversee operational risk management, and encourage collaboration between teams to support smooth day-to-day operations. Applicants for the COO position at the company must have a proven track record in senior leadership within banking or financial services operations in Malta, with a strong understanding of MFSA requirements and EU regulatory frameworks. The role requires excellent communication skills, experience in digital transformation or operational improvement initiatives, and the ability to manage complex, regulated environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, be adept at stakeholder management, and possess the leadership and interpersonal abilities necessary to work across teams.
