Vice President, Data Scientist, Global Financial Markets Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a VP, Data Scientist for Global Financial Markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing AI, data analytics, and automation solutions to enhance the efficiency of trading desks. This includes creating and implementing models for trade idea generation, trade execution, monitoring, and review, as well as report generation. The role involves understanding the specific requirements and pain points of traders and sales professionals to design tailored AI solutions. The candidate will also be involved in ad-hoc data analysis, providing insights on clients, and tracking financial products. Key responsibilities for this role include model development, data initiatives, and staying updated in the field of data science. The ideal candidate should have a degree in an analytics discipline, with a preference for those with 2-5 years of experience in a similar data or analytics role within global financial markets. Proficiency in programming, particularly in Python, and a strong understanding of AI and AI models are essential. The role also requires the ability to lead and mentor junior team members, as well as a proactive approach to exploring new tools and techniques in data science. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with large datasets are also necessary.
