Vice President, Operational Risk Manager, Risk Management Group Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to join its Risk Management Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent review and challenge to business and support units, ensuring that operational risk is effectively managed and that operational resilience is maintained. This role involves providing Line 2 independent risk oversight, conducting independent assessments of operational risk, and developing and maintaining operational risk policies and mitigation programs. The Operational Risk Manager will also be involved in driving changes in risk management tools, participating in team projects, and leading initiatives to enhance risk culture and awareness. Applicants must have a university degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of experience in banks or financial institutions, with a strong understanding of operational risk, banking products, and processes. The role requires aptitude and experience in risk and control-related roles, as well as strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude towards change, self-driven, and able to balance creative and pragmatic approaches. The position demands a professional who is adept at using data to solve problems, can influence stakeholders at all levels, and is committed to the objectives of operational risk management.
