Dean of the Scott College of Business

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Business, with a strong focus on student success, career connectedness, and a culture of care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, advancing innovative program delivery, and maintaining the College's prestigious AACSB accreditation. Key responsibilities include fostering academic innovation, navigating accreditation processes, and cultivating relationships with alumni, donors, and industry partners to secure resources for College initiatives. The Dean will also be expected to have a deep understanding of current industry trends, professional standards, and career pathways for graduates, as well as to develop and expand experiential learning, career-ready opportunities, and high-impact practices for students. The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate in a relevant discipline, a scholarly record qualifying for a full professorship with tenure, and a proven track record in academic administration. This includes budget management, personnel oversight, recruitment, retention, and strategic planning. The role requires the ability to adapt to changing educational landscapes, cultivate relationships across diverse disciplines, and communicate effectively with various constituencies. The Dean will be instrumental in supporting active and inclusive learning, fostering faculty research, and promoting scholarly productivity within the College.
