Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance and Business Strategy for its Japanese market. This senior leadership role is pivotal in leading the company's finance strategy, financial operations, regulatory compliance, and governance to support sustainable business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading financial strategies that align with business objectives and long-term growth plans in Japan. Key responsibilities include overseeing accounting, tax, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring robust financial governance and regulatory compliance. The role also involves managing liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and funding strategies to support financial stability and business growth. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in finance or a related function, with a strong understanding of the Japanese banking market and regulatory environment. Extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial governance, and regulatory compliance is essential, as is a background in supporting strategic financial decision-making within a regulated financial environment. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and a strong strategic and commercial mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-moving environment. Fluency in Japanese and English is a mandatory requirement for this position.
