Governor (Board-level role)

The Company is seeking Governors to join its Board and play a pivotal role in the strategic direction and governance of the organization. Governors are responsible for ensuring the College maintains its high standards, delivers excellent education and training, and remains financially sustainable. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the shaping of the future of education and skills in the region, with a focus on driving innovation, and regional economic growth, and creating opportunities for learners, employers, and communities. The ideal candidates will be individuals who are committed to improving lives through education and skills, can think strategically, and are prepared to provide constructive support and challenge. The Company is particularly interested in qualified finance professionals, senior leaders from West Midlands businesses, and cyber and digital specialists. The role requires a time commitment of approximately 12 hours per month and involves active participation in Board and committee meetings. Governors at the College are expected to be ambassadors for the organization, upholding its values of collaboration, ownership, being welcoming, and commitment.
