Vice President, Leveraged Finance Credit Risk

The Company is in search of a Vice President to join its Leveraged and Structured Credit Risk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent credit oversight across a diverse portfolio of credit transactions, including private credit, lender finance, asset-backed lending, trade finance, and leveraged finance. This role is pivotal in the second line of defense, involving the evaluation of complex credit exposures, assignment of internal ratings, and close collaboration with front office teams on deal structuring and risk management. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in credit risk, private credit, leveraged finance, structured credit, asset-based lending, lender finance, or trade finance. The role requires strong credit underwriting and analytical skills, including financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, collateral evaluation, portfolio monitoring, and credit risk identification. The Vice President will also be involved in reviewing complex legal documentation, evaluating bespoke financing structures, and must be adept at presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and partnering with front office teams throughout the deal life cycle.
