Vice President, IPB & Private Bank Control Testing Leader, Wealth

The Company is seeking a Wealth Products and Operations Control Testing Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end control monitoring within the Wealth Products and Operations department, with a focus on operational controls performance assurance, and testing. This role requires a subject matter expert in overall control monitoring, with a strong understanding of control testing and the ability to adapt to the latest trends in the field. The individual will be accountable for significant control testing results, providing advice on control execution, and maintaining a high level of communication and influence, particularly at a senior level. Key responsibilities for the Wealth Products and Operations Control Testing Leader include supporting the Controls Testing Utility, carrying out Control Design Assessments, and owning control testing design activities. The role also involves training the Central Execution team, creating materials for operational risk forums, and driving continuous improvements in control testing processes. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in risk and controls roles, and possess advanced skills in MS Office. Strong people and relationship management skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in virtual teams. Investment securities and/or insurance licenses are preferred. The role demands a high level of responsibility, the ability to assess and manage risk, and a commitment to compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
