Head of Corporate and Financial Institution Credit

The Company is in search of a seasoned and strategic Head of Corporate and FI Credit to lead the credit approval and risk management for corporate and financial institution clients. This senior leadership position is pivotal in maintaining credit quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth through sound credit decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the credit approval function, reviewing and approving credit proposals, providing expert judgment on complex credit structures, and collaborating with various teams to safeguard credit quality while supporting business origination. Additionally, the role involves monitoring portfolio performance, representing the credit function in internal and external engagements, and driving continuous improvement in credit processes. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in corporate credit risk, credit approval, or credit underwriting, with a strong understanding of corporate and FI credit across various sectors. Familiarity with PRC and Hong Kong regulatory frameworks and banking practices is essential. The role requires proven leadership skills, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and fluency in Mandarin and English, with Cantonese being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing credit teams, be adept at analytical, communication, and decision-making, and be committed to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
