Vice President, Credit Risk Management

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Credit Risk Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and authorizing transactions in line with the company's credit officer approval authority policy and portfolio management rules. This role requires a seasoned credit professional with a strong risk assessment methodology, particularly in the management of a portfolio of hedge fund and NBFI clients across various sectors and geographies. The Vice President will also be expected to work closely with front office deal teams, ensuring high credit quality and articulating risk perception in accordance with company policies. Applicants must have a deep knowledge of credit risk management, including due diligence and rating assessment of hedge fund and NBFI clients. Extensive product knowledge, particularly in major derivative instruments and repo, is essential, as is experience in leading complex legal negotiations for associated documentation. The role involves collaboration with other risk and compliance functions and the ability to take complex transactions from inception to approval with limited supervision. A degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, ACT, or CFA, are required, along with a proven track record of continued learning and development. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to propose innovative solutions and be willing to engage in ad hoc projects.
